The People's Ministry which is a 501c3 non-profit corporation, founded by Jeff and Penney Pias.
Jeff and Penney Pias met then married 6 weeks later in the beginning of covid 2020. They continue to fall more in love with each day, with God at the center of their marriage.
They call themselves salt and pepper!! (Penney comes from a God fearing and serving Christ life) (Jeff comes from bars, to motorcycle clubs, and all that comes with it). But God.. Jeff was recently saved and delivered from his addictions and previous life.
Jeff says one day to Penney - "Find us an island to go to for an extended time". Penney says, "Be careful what you ask for- God told me a few years back He was sending me to an island to minister".
Jeff's response, "well let's go and see what God has for us".
That's where The People's Ministry was birth. People helping people in Jesus name. "We are the hands and feet of Jesus", says The Pias' "If it's clothes, food, shoes, a smile, a prayer, a hug, a Bible or even mattress and linens - we are here in Isla Mujeres, Mexico to minister to others"! Jeff says, "He asked God what He wanted him to do after he was radically saved and God has given us this mission". Jeff continues to give his testimony daily and helps teach an English Bible study plus loves going into the needy communities to give to others.

We spend most of the year ministering in Isla Mujeres, Mexico.. traveling home to Arkansas for holidays and spending time with our families, 4 kids, (one in heaven) & 7 grandkids, that we love and miss.
Romans 8:28 is a scripture quoted on a regular bases in our home. The Pias' say loving God, each other and keeping their life simple, debt free and taking in All God has created in this world are both their goals in life.

Do you have a mission statement for life? Here is mine...how am I doing?
My mission is to live my life in such a way that people would say she did everything she could to Impact and Inspire everybody to become all Christ has made them to be spiritually, physically and financially.
I will inspire ppl to all walks of life to be the very best.
I will awake daily, excited about the Life Christ has given me and pursue every opportunity.
I, myself will chose activities that impact ppl lives and only participate in those activities that line up with my values and goals. My values and goals will be set by God’s standard.
I will motivate my family, friends, business partners to be the very best physically, spiritually and financially as a testimony she did all she could.
will strive to make our journey fun, exciting, adventurous, and faith and health based.
i will provide the tools to my kids, grandkids, and great grandkids necessary to achieve their own goals.
I will cherish every moment, memory and opportunity to enrich lives and relationships.
I will live a Christian life of honesty and integrity by the Bible standards.
I will impact and inspire everyone to those I have an opportunity to influence.
i will continue to grow by studying the Word and prayer and hearing from the Lord. I will feed my mind also on motivational helps.
I will value the freedom of financial security, freedom of time and ownership of my life, my profession and products will provide.
I am a bondservant to serve God and Others.

The two of us, and the sunset in Mexico living for Jesus. Lots of people I am sure wonder how we could leave our home and come here and why ? Because we love ❤️ what we are called to do.
I have shared this many times. in 2018, a book I read inspired me to keep a list of goals, dreams, desires. Each year I revisit those list and update and validate.
On this list, I wrote I feel God is calling us to minister on an island. Well, my life unfolded and as the Lord wrote my story, years later .
In 2023, Jeff Pias said to me, I think we should go to an island and vacation. I said I have something to tell you... I told him that God had laid on my heart to go to an island and minister for extended time. He said then we should go and see what God has for us. That was 2023 and each year the desire and ministry grows, and each year, we stay longer.
I am so thankful for the leadership of God and the Holy Spirit. We miss our family, friends, home and life in Arkansas. but our desire to do God's will and work is stronger and more rewarding than going against His ways.
